We believe that once trust is established with a client it is our responsibility as advisors to ensure that they receive the required quality advice in all associated areas. We choose to work through carefully selected formal associations in which both partners have an equity stake. This strategy ensures that both parties remain committed to the provision of great service across the entire client base and not on a one off basis.
We are cynical of 'referral relationships' as we do not believe that these ever achieve their potential. Inevitably both partners are not equally committed to service across all of their clients and therefore these 'referrals' mostly fail.
Formal associations provide excellent additional growth opportunities for both parties with very limited risk.
